Elements BergHOFF Elements Paring Knife 8.6cm
From: £11.95
Peeling an apple, trimming a strawberry or removing a small blemish does not call for a full chef’s knife. The Elements Paring Knife keeps those close-control jobs on a short 8.6cm blade.
The short blade keeps the cutting action close to your hand, which is useful for detailed prep where a full-size chef’s knife would feel cumbersome.
The knife has a MoV stainless steel blade and an ABS handle.
That compact geometry favours fingertip control rather than force, so it should be guided deliberately and kept for the smaller tasks it is designed to perform.
The ABS handle is available in Aubergine, Khaki or Sand. After use, wash and dry it promptly and store it so the edge cannot contact other metal. Wood or plastic boards are preferred; glass, stone and marble can dull or chip a sharpened edge.
