Overview

Tomatoes, citrus and crusty rolls can deform under a smooth small blade. The Elements Serrated Utility Knife uses fine teeth across 11.5cm to bite into the outer surface before slicing through the softer centre.

The Aubergine handle adds a deep, warm accent to the otherwise clean stainless steel design.

The knife has a MoV stainless steel blade and an ABS handle.

Fine serrations bite into the surface before the soft interior is compressed, making this a useful bridge between a paring knife and a full bread knife.

For longer edge life, cut on wood or plastic and clean the knife soon after food preparation. Dishwasher cleaning is possible, but hand washing is recommended to reduce detergent and contact wear. The blade shape is task-specific, which is why using it for its intended food-prep role is preferable to forcing it into levering, twisting or heavy chopping.
